WHY AUDIO IS EVERYTHING
Bad Audio Breaks an Event.
Good Audio is Invisible.
You've never left an event saying "the audio was great." You've only ever left saying "the audio was terrible." That's the asymmetry of professional sound; when it's done right, nobody notices it.
When it's done wrong, it's all anyone talks about.
A microphone that feeds back during wedding vows. A speech nobody in the back row could hear. A DJ's bass that overwhelmed the room and made conversation impossible. These aren't freak accidents; they're the predictable result of undersized systems, unchecked feedback rings, and audio setups designed for the wrong venue.
Royal AV approaches audio as a structural engineering challenge. We model your venue's acoustics, size the system for your room, and station a dedicated audio engineer at the mixing console throughout your entire event. Not a volunteer. Not the DJ moonlighting as a sound tech. A professional engineer whose only job is your audio.
Integrated with your full production
When you book audio through Royal AV, your audio engineer works from the same run-of-show as your DJ, lighting operator, and LED wall technician. Every cue is coordinated. Every transition is planned. Your team works as one, not as four separate vendors improvising on your wedding day.

WHO WE ENGINEER FOR
Wedding Audio.
Corporate Audio.
Two Different Disciplines.
-
Wedding Audio & Ceremony Sound
Wedding audio is about emotional moments heard perfectly. Your officiant's words, your vows, your first toast; every spoken moment needs to reach every guest clearly. We engineer your ceremony and reception audio as separate systems, calibrated for the specific acoustics of your venue, your guest count, and your seating layout.
We coordinate closely with your DJ and MC, or provide both so every music cue, announcement, and transition flows without dead air, volume spikes, or feedback. Your guests should never be thinking about the sound system.

Corporate Event Audio & Conference Sound
Corporate audio is about clarity and reliability. A panel discussion with five speakers, a product launch with a live demonstration, a 300-person all-hands meeting with a hybrid live stream; each requires precise microphone management, clean signal routing, and an engineer who can adapt to real-time program changes without disrupting the flow of your event.
We engineer corporate audio for Seattle and Bellevue organizations of 25 to 800 attendees, in hotel ballrooms, conference centers, and non-traditional event spaces. Your speakers sound professional. Your remote attendees hear everything. Your recording is broadcast-quality.

THE ROYAL AUDIO PROCESS
We Engineer Your Audio
Before We Arrive.
Most sound companies show up, set up speakers in the obvious places, turn the volume up, and hope for the best. The result is usually uneven coverage, too loud up front, too quiet in the back, reflections off hard walls creating echo in the corners.
Royal AV uses acoustic modeling software to analyze your venue before the event day. We input your room's dimensions, surface materials, and seating layout and the software models exactly how sound will travel through the space. That tells us exactly how many speakers you need, where to position them, and how to angle them for even coverage at the right volume in every seat.
Venue Assessment
We gather your venue dimensions, ceiling height, surface materials, and seating layout. For new venues, we conduct a site visit. For familiar ones, we already have the data from previous productions.
Acoustic Modeling
We model the room's acoustic behavior using professional software identifying problem frequencies, reflective surfaces, and dead zones before we ever load a single speaker into the building.
System Design
Based on the model, we select the right speaker configuration; line array, point source, or distributed and plan exact placement, delay timing, and sub integration for flat, even coverage throughout your venue.
RF Coordination
We conduct full wireless frequency coordination for every event scanning the Seattle RF environment and assigning clean frequencies to every wireless microphone before your event begins. Zero interference. Zero dropouts.
Live Management
Our audio engineer arrives early, completes sound check with your speakers or performers, and manages the mix live throughout your event making real-time adjustments as the room fills and acoustic conditions change.
WEDDINGS
Why This Matters For Your Wedding
Most wedding venues are acoustically challenging with hard floors, glass walls, high ceilings. Without acoustic modeling, your officiant's words echo off the back wall and arrive at the guest's ears as a muddy, doubled sound. With proper modeling and speaker placement, you hear one clear, warm voice. Every word. Every seat.
CORPORATE
Why This Matters For Your Corporate Event
Hotel ballrooms are notoriously difficult acoustic environments with parallel walls, low ceilings, carpet that absorbs bass and reflects mids. A panel discussion in a poorly engineered room sounds hollow and distant from the back. Acoustic modeling means your panelists sound as clear at table 20 as they do at table one.
RF
Seattle’s RF Environment is Crowded
Downtown Seattle is one of the densest wireless environments in the Pacific Northwest, competing signals from hotels, convention centers, and neighboring events can interfere with unchecked wireless microphones. Our Shure UHF digital wireless systems, combined with professional frequency coordination, ensure your mics stay clean regardless of what's happening around you.
RECORDING
Clean Audio For Post Event Content
Need a recording of your keynote, panel, or wedding speeches? We provide multi-track stems from every event; clean, processed audio files ready for post-production, your video team, or social media content.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Before You Reach Out.
The questions we hear most from couples and event planners about professional event audio in Seattle. Call us at (206) 580-3040 if yours isn't here.
-
Event audio pricing in Seattle depends on your venue size, guest count, number of microphones, event duration, and whether you need additional services like live-streaming or multi-track recording. A simple system for a 75-person wedding ceremony is priced very differently from a full line array setup with a live audio engineer for a 500-person corporate all-hands meeting. We provide a detailed, transparent quote broken down by service so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
-
For any wedding with more than 40–50 guests, yes. Without amplification, your officiant and vow exchange simply won't be audible to guests beyond the first few rows especially outdoors or in venues with ambient noise. A professional sound system doesn't mean booming music. It means every word of your ceremony and every speech at your reception is heard clearly by every guest. It's often the element couples say they're most glad they invested in.
-
A standard Royal AV wedding audio package includes a speaker system sized to your venue and guest count, wireless microphones for your officiant and toasts, music playback capability, and a dedicated audio engineer on-site throughout your event. We design ceremony and reception as separate systems so both environments are properly covered. Upgrades like additional wireless mics, ceremony monitoring, live-stream audio, and multi-track recording can be added based on your needs.
-
Absolutely. We regularly provide the sound system and audio engineering while a client's independently-booked DJ performs through our system. We coordinate directly with your DJ in advance to verify their equipment requirements, signal routing, and channel layout. Your DJ brings their performance skills and music library while we provide the professional house system and engineer that makes them sound their best. This is a common arrangement and works seamlessly.
-
Yes, outdoor events are one of our specialties, and they present unique audio challenges that require specific equipment and planning. Outdoor events have no room boundaries to contain sound, which means we need higher-output systems with tighter direction control to achieve even coverage without disturbing neighbors or creating excess noise. We also assess power access, weather protection for equipment, and any permit requirements for sound levels at your specific outdoor venue.
-
Yes, and this is something we'd encourage you to think through carefully rather than assume your live-stream platform will handle automatically. Live-stream audio requires a separate, clean broadcast feed from your mixing console not a mic near the speaker or a camera's built-in audio. We route a dedicated broadcast-quality signal to your streaming encoder, independent of the house mix, so your remote attendees hear professional audio regardless of what's happening acoustically in the room.
